Mailbox Monday June 17

Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia of To Be Continued and hosted by Meredith of Dolce Bellezza this month.   What is going on with this crazy weather?  We’ve had so much rain, I was thinking of building an ark – thankfully the sun has finally come out around here.  Here are the books that showed up in my mailbox last week:

    Hi Kathy,

The weather here in the UK isn’t much better than your own by the sound of things. ‘Flaming June’ certainly isn’t living up to its reputation so far!!

You have another great selection of books this week and a couple of them really piqued my interest …. ‘The Funeral Dress’ and ‘The Shining Girls’ are definitely on my list and I shall look forward to reading your thoughts about them, if you decide to review.

Thanks for sharing and have a good week.

    Yvonne

The Village caught me eye, and love this last line in the synopsis “The Village deftly examines the limits of empathy, the slipperiness of reason, and the strength of our principles in the face of personal gain”. Hope you enjoy it!! Here’s My Memes Post.
