I found a new word on Twitter last week.
1. stickybeak – “Never make the mistake of letting your pretty little nose turn into a great big stickybeak.” — Sydney Mail, 7 Sept. 16
Stickybeak is chiefly used in Australia and New Zealand but I love it and think I’ll start using it! It can mean a person who pries into the affairs of others and can also refer to the nose of said nosy person.

What a fun word!
That’s a good word to use here, I think.
I kind of like that word, too!
I agree. That’s a great word.

Cool word. Where I am such a person would be said to be memelippy.

Stickybeak is a terrific word!!
Love it!
Oh my goodness! A word I can’t remembering having heard since my primary school days when it was a favourite term used by one of my teachers … I forget her name but can picture her as clear as day, her face is the face of some unfortunate pupil asking them if they thought it big/clever to be a stickybeak.

I guess the word makes sense but I’d never heard of it. I’m sure you know a few people that you could call that! We all do!
