Mailbox Monday

February 18, 2019

Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and now hosted on its own blog.   My mailbox had a slow week, but I’m not complaining.

Saturday

What was in your mailbox?

Not one for me I’m afraid, but only because I am into neither reading memoirs, nor am I a follower of fashion! In fact, despite the fact that Tan was born in the UK, I have never come across his name before, so I had to check him out online.

I like the title of the book and also this from the ‘Indiebound’ site …

In Tan’s own words, “The book is meant to spread joy, personal acceptance, and most of all understanding. Each of us is living our own private journey, and the more we know about each other, the healthier and happier the world will be.”

    What a great sentiment 🙂

This sounds interesting. I don’t read many memoirs but I like to read ones with a bit of humour.
