I love that word! My word today is French: regrattier — a dealer in leftovers who buys from restaurants and sells to those who don’t mind eating slightly off foods.

I knew this word only because I know a few people that are perspicacious.
I had to think for a moment, but then I remembered what it meant!
It looks like a word I should know, but I didn’t.
I do like the word 🙂

This one I knew. My father, who never talked down to us, used this word when I was young. I never forgot its meaning.
