I’ve found a few words in THE LAST CASTLE by Denise Kiernan.
1. paillette – “Aunty Mary King attended wearing black silk with steel paillettes.”
A paillette is a piece of glittering material used to ornament clothing; a spangle.

2. accouchement – “Dr. Battle — who had looked after George’s mother during their visit years earlier, and had helped establish the region’s tubercular-healing reputation — watched over Edith during her accouchement.”
Accouuchement is a noun that means the process of giving birth to a baby.

What words do you want to celebrate today?
Nope x 2.
I echo what Lloyd said!
I don’t know why I didn’t know accouchement, but I didn’t. Could it be French?
No & No
I knew neither of these prior to my visit here! I hope to remember both.
Neither one!
I am a girl without spangles…
I knew the first work had to do with clothing but I didn’t know specifically. And I had no idea about the second one!
