I received the Moyes book, too – such a fun holiday read! I’m debating getting the new Erdrich, but not so sure about it. Sounds interesting -ish. Enjoy your new reads 🙂

Those books look simply beautiful…esp. the Jojo Moyes one.

I’m a big fan of Moyes, but not so much with short stories. And, yet, I really liked this book – especially the one long story that almost a novella.

Paris for One is on my list…and I also enjoy Faye Kellerman’s books, but haven’t read one in a while. The new Louise Erdrich also grabs me. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.

I didn’t receive any new physical books last week, but added a few new e galleys including new essays from Kelly Corrigan, Surprise Me by Sophie Kinsella and Anatomy of a Scandal by Sarah Vaughan. I loved Paris for One, really enjoyable for Jojo Moyes! Happy reading.

    Hi Kathy,

You have a great mix of genres this week and from varying sources, although I’ll bet that it didn’t take you too long to work out that the Faye Kellerman story, is the one heading straight for my own list!

Strangely enough, I found that all the covers this week were pretty boring, with words dominating the picture image space. I wonder if there is another subtle shift in cover art imaging going on, or is this just a coincidence?

Enjoy all your new books and have a good week 🙂

I’m listening to Amy Tan’s memoir now! It’s good…and mystical in a way.

I was just chatting with a friend about Amy Tan’s earlier novels and this memoir sounds intriguing! It’s been a long time since I’ve read anything by her.

  23. November 7, 2017 6:10 pm

I just got the latest Faye Kellerman; I really like this series of detective books.

  24. November 7, 2017 9:06 pm

Kellerman is the only of these authors I have read. Future Home of the Living God looks particularly interesting. Happy Reading!
