My sons would enjoy The Football Fanbook. Hope you enjoy both of these books!
The memoir has such a great title it sparked my curiosity immediately. Enjoy your new books!
A Beautiful, Terrible Thing looks like a book I would enjoy. Thanks for sharing, and have a great week. Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Only two? You can catch up on your TBR list.
For you, this is a pretty paltry haul!
Kathy, enjoy your new books! Sometimes, it’s very nice to have a light mailbox. 🙂
The Waite book sounds interesting. I’m not a football fan so the other book doesn’t interest me.
Hi Kathy,
I am not a football fan (only the English kind!) and I don’t generally read memoirs and biographies.
However The cover of ‘A Beautiful, Terrible Thing’ was just that, and illustrated the emotion and poignancy of the story line so well!
It is also good to find a victim who decides to break away from a bad situation and battle back to find themself a new niche and purpose in life.. when so often the victim will continually find excuses to continue being just that!
I hope that you enjoy browsing your new books and manage to tackle some of your TBR pile 🙂

ENJOY your books.
Have a great week.
