Mailbox Monday
May 29, 2017
Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and now hosted on its own blog. It was a light week for my mailbox but I’m not complaining because I haven’t had much time to read lately. I hope all Americans take time to reflect on Memorial Day and those who gave their lives while serving our country. I found this book in my mailbox:
Thursday
- GRACE by Paul Lynch came from Little, Brown

That may be a record for your lightest ever!
A new book for me.
We have floods in our country with hundreds of thousands left homeless. So many deaths, so much destruction. Very sad right now.
I’ll watch for your thoughts on this one.
Very light!
This book sounds good. I knew my mom was part Irish, but when I took the Ancestry.com dna test, I found out that I’m 40% Irish.
Looks good
Grace looks like a good read. Enjoy! Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
Hope you enjoy Grace. The word has taken on significance for me as my last children’s picture book (out as of December 2016) is named With Grace. The description of the Lynch book had me at Dickensian lol.
Only one? Must be the holiday.
Enjoy Grace, it sounds good especially that setting and time period.
Hi Kathy,
I really like the cover of this one and the premise link you left sounded very promising. I checked out some of Paul’s other books however, and I have come to the conclusion that I would probably either love or hate his writing style. I am therefore going to leave this one on the back-burner for a while and see what you think of it!!
Thanks for sharing and I hope that you manage to make some headway into your TBR pile 🙂

Happy Memorial Day 🙂
This looks good, Kathy! I hope you are well today. We just got home from seeing the West Coast Thunder ride through our neighborhood. They always draw quite the crowd. It’s a nice tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives.
Hopefully you had a peace filled day!
A smaller mailbox is a blessing sometimes!
I don’t know this one! I hope it’s a good read. 🙂

This sounds like an interesting, perhaps intense, read. Light but impactful mailbox maybe. 🙂
Happy Reading!
That looks like a good book!
