    All sound like nice books. I got some books too last week, but haven’t had the time to take a click and note down what came. it will all have to landslide into next week, I guess.

    I finished THE WIDOW’S HOUSE yesterday. Very Gothic. Loved it. I also have THE CUTAWAY and think it sounds like one I’d like. Have a very nice week with your Mom! So glad you get to spend time with her. It’s a precious thing.

    SONGS FROM THE VIOLET CAFE has a great title.

    I started THE WIDOW’S HOUSE…I think I am going to really enjoy it.

    Looks like you have several intense reads in Caged Eyes and The Rules Do Not Apply. The Widow’s House and The Cutaway sound like strong thrillers. And then there’s Jake the Fake to add some humor. May you enjoy them all!

    I just ordered The Rules Do Not Apply yesterday because David Sedaris recommends reading it before coming to see him on tour. (Which I am in June – yay!) He’s going to be briefly discussing it. I hope it’s good – it sounds like it will be.
