mailbox-monday-january-16

Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and now hosted on its own blog.   The cold weather has passed and it’s been beautiful here but we have lots of rain in our forecast this week.  The week flew by and I don’t feel like I accomplished all that much.  I found these goodies in my mailbox:

Tuesday

Friday

What did you find in your mailbox last week?

I have had my eye on Marlene!

  4. January 16, 2017 8:12 am

I’ll be curious about your thoughts on MARLENE. I asked her grandson about it. (He toured his books with me) and he said it wasn’t an accurate account of his grandmother’s life.

The icy rain moved into my area this morning – yuck. I’ve enjoyed one of Gortner’s previous novels so I’ll be interested in your thoughts on Marlene.

I’m looking forward to nicer weather coming my way! We have ice today. 😦

This Is Not Over sounds promising, but I’ve read a couple of negative reviews, so keep us posted! I do love a good psychological thriller!

    Hi Kathy,

The weather has been a very mixed bag here in the UK, although things are generally much more mild and temperate down here in the south of the country. It definitely hasn’t been too harsh a winter so far – but there is still time yet, so perhaps I shouldn’t count my chickens…?

This is the first time I have heard about author Holly Brown, but she is definitely someone destined for my TBR list. ‘This Is Not Over’ sounds great and I look forward to reading your thoughts about it. Thanks for the introduction 🙂

Hope you don’t have the freezing rain.
I like the idea of the Presidents of the US book. This Is Not Over sounds really dramatic – I’ll be interested in hearing your thoughts.
    Happy Reading!
