Mailbox Monday
December 12, 2016
Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and now hosted on its own blog. I didn’t get a lot of reading done again last week but I did get a lot closer to being ready for Christmas. The tree is up and decorated, the outside lights are up, the cards are mailed, and most of the shopping is done! Temperatures are down so it feels like Christmas too. I found these goodies in my mailbox last week:
Monday
- A MILLION LITTLE THINGS by Susan Mallery came from Tandem Literary
Thursday
- DOGS AND THEIR PEOPLE by BarkPost was a win from A Bookish Way of Life
Friday
- HOW WILL I KNOW YOU? by Jessica Treadway was a win from A Bookworm’s World
- THE MIDNIGHT COOL by Lydia Peelle came from Harper Collins
- NIGHT OF FIRE by Colin Thubron came from Harper Collins
- THE MEN IN MY LIFE by Patricia Bosworth came from Harper Collins
What did you find in your mailbox last week?

I like the way the Harper Collins books ‘fit’ together. I didn’t get much reading done last week either. Here’s hoping this week is better!
You had a much better week than I did! I got one of those books — and that’s about it.
You got some interesting book this week. Night of Fire looks really good. I hope you enjoy them all.
Dogs and Their People would probably be fun. Happy reading!
I’m glad you received your copy of Dogs and Their People. Hope you enjoy it 🙂 Should be a fun one.
How Will I Know You sounds like something I would really enjoy! Another great mailbox!
All sound interesting. Happy reading!
These all look so tempting. How Will I Know You caught my eye…and I thought Jessica Treadway sounded familiar, too, so I looked her up. She wrote Lacy Eye, which I read a while ago…a very unusual book.
Thanks for sharing…and for visiting my blog. Enjoy your week, with all the Christmas fuss…and a little reading, too.
It can be hard to find time to read during the holiday. Hope you enjoy all your new books!
Very interesting mix.
The Susan Mallery book looks good.
ENJOY!!

Dogs And Their People is one of my picks for Books That Caught My Eye.
I’m seeing Dogs and Their People everywhere. I hope you enjoy it as well as the others.
Sounds like you are ready for Christmas. Enjoy your new reads.
WOW sounds like you are going to have a very enjoyable reading Christmas.
Happy reading!
Enjoy!
Very interesting books!
You’re way ahead of me in Christmas preparation… I need to get going! The books all look good this week.
Hi Kathy,
I’m still not that organised for Christmas, although due to personal circumstances, we have decided to go quite low key this year, so I don’t feel under quite so much pressure.
You have some excellent titles this week, even though most of them don’t immediately grab me as ‘must reads’. ‘How Will I Know You’ really caught my eye though and that one makes it all worth while 🙂
Thanks for sharing and ‘Happy Reading’ this week 🙂
Yvonne
No shortage of goodies here, Kathy. Enjoy!
I still have a few decorations to put up but other than that I’m almost ready for Christmas. I hope we both enjoy A Million Little Things.
I really love Dogs and Their People. I hope you have a great holiday.
Looking forward tot he Susan Mallery book.
Dogs and Their People looks like a fun book.
I just read my first Susan Mallery book this year and really liked it. Curious about this one.
