Mailbox Monday

December 5, 2016

Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and now hosted on its own blog.     Wow, last week just flew by.  I’m not really sure what I did with my time but I do know I didn’t spend much of it reading.  The holidays are approaching too quickly for me!  I found these goodies in my mailbox last week:

What did you find in your mailbox last week?

I have been reading less also. Too much to do, and too many distractions in the news, often stranger than fiction these days!

The year has passed by so fast. Almost no reading for me last week as well. Hope your new books are fantastic.

I too am having a hard time finding a moment to read

I agree with you, the time is flying by. My mom was so moved by Regina’s first book, I’m going to have to pick this one up for her as well.

I’ve still never read a Patricia Cornwell. Seems somehow mutinous.

These all look good. I keep meaning to read Patricia Cornwell. Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

I just put all 3 titles on my TBR list. Will be on the lookout for your thoughts on them. Enjoy!

An empty mailbox this week for me 🙂 Yours looks scrumptious. The Fifth Petal looks intriguing.

I have no idea what I did with my time either. It was busy however! I may as well say ‘so long’ until next year.

Patricia Cornwell, it has been to long, last year I said I would read her again and look another year gone. Author, Brunonia Barry, I have to go see the other books, can’t think of the title(s). Enjoy

It’s hard to find time to read this time of year… I have a couple of Brunonia Barry books on my shelf…I really need to get around to reading her one of these days! Have a great week.

Enjoy your new books, Kathy! During the holidays, reading is a rarer pleasure for me.

I know what you mean…I think that December is always a slow reading month!

Oh, Brunonia Barry! I always like her books.

  17. December 5, 2016 8:43 pm

    A new Cornwell. Wow!

  18. December 5, 2016 10:13 pm

I’m with you on December kind of tumbling in! Hey – I recognize Patricia Cornwell – haven’t read her in a long time.
The Fifth Petal looks really good.
    Enjoy your reading!

    Hi Kathy,

This whole year has simply flown by and although I am hoping that 2017 will be a little better for us, I’m not holding my breath!

Patricia Cornwell is becoming something of a female James Patterson, given the rate and regularity with which new titles hit the shelves – But that doesn’t stop me clamouring to read her books, so that’s the title I am adding to my own list, although I am also quite intrigued by ‘The Fifth Petal’.

Enjoy some down time to read, should you get the chance 🙂

A new Patricia Cornwell – she’s writing them faster than I can read them. Reading time has been scarce for me too.

    Nice books.

The Fifth Petal sounds interesting. Love the title.

These all look great! Girl Unbroken is the one I would slip off that pile and start reading first.
