Review: The Night Voyage

November 10, 2016

I’m sure everyone knows adults are turning to coloring to relax and de-stress.  Studies have actually shown coloring is good for you!  There are a lot of great coloring books for adults out there and I think Daria Song’s are some of the best.  Not only are they filled with beautiful, intricate designs, they tell a story too.

Song’s latest coloring book, THE NIGHT VOYAGE, tells the story of young girl whose parents will be out of town for her birthday.  To make up for their absence, they leave her a pile of presents but that’s not what she really wants.  She dreams that her toy train conductor has come to life to tell her that if they deliver her presents to other children, she will get the greatest gift of all.

If you need a new coloring book or are looking for a great gift this holiday season, you can’t go wrong with THE NIGHT VOYAGE or any of Song’s other coloring books.  Be sure to check them out!

That’s a cute story to go along with the coloring. I would like to color. I have one coloring book. Maybe it’s the wrong choice. I haven’t gotten in it yet.

I want to try coloring and even have one that was a gift but just haven’t had the time to sit and do it! This one looks nice.

So pretty! I think lot of us should be taking up coloring right now. I seem to de-stress with adult dot to dots.

I really need to try one of Song’s colouring books. At present I have only seen them from afar. Maybe Christmas!

This is just not for me. But it was interesting to learn that in 2015, print books sold more than ebooks because of the coloring books. Who knew?

These are my kind of coloring books. Just like the Poe one with his poems and stories.
