Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and now hosted on its own blog.   Happy Halloween!  It looks like we’re going to have gorgeous weather and I look forward to seeing the kids in our neighborhood all dressed up.  I found these goodies in my mailbox last week:

    Interesting books this week! I’m curious about both The Patriots and Rise. It should be clear, but cold for the trick-or-treaters here… if we get any.

    Rise sounds like a good memoir!
    Our trick-or-treat time was yesterday afternoon – not as much fun as evening, imho.

    I now want to read Rise asap– thanks for the tip about it! I keep planning in my head where my hubby and I will land for our final retirement house, and our first house we had custom built, so it’s a pipe dream to build a cottage-sized home for our last.

    Rise caught my eye. I checked my library and it’s on order. so I put it on hold. Luckily no one else had it on hold, so I’ll get it as soon as it comes in.

    Those are all new titles for me this week. We had nice Halloween weather for a change. I can remember years when it has been freezing cold!
