Mailbox Monday

October 17, 2016

Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and now hosted on its own blog.   Last week was busy so I’m glad my mailbox didn’t see too much action.  I was happy to read more books than I received!  I found these goodies in my mailbox last week:

What did you find in your mailbox last week?

Reading more books than you received is always a good thing. Enjoy them both…I am curious about The Mirror Sisters. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.

    Hi Kathy,

I have never read any of the original Virginia Andrews stories, however I was quite interested in the premise of ‘The Mirror Sisters’.

I was therefore a little disappointed at the range of ratings and reviews the book has attracted to date, very mixed to say the least!

Also, it sounds very much as though the two books in the series to date, don’t work well as stand alones and will need to be read in series sequence to be enjoyed to their full potential, which is a real shame!

I hope that you enjoy both the books and have a good week 🙂

Wow…I have not seen a V.C. Andrews book around in ages!

    A new V. C. Andrews book…ENJOY!!

Have a great reading week, Kathy.

It is always good when I read more books in a week than come in!

Indestructible sounds good. I read several VC Andrews books as a teen, but not sure I would still read them today.

Indestructible looks interesting. It’s nice to read more than you receive sometimes… time to get ahead. Happy reading!

My serious addiction to Kindle freebies pretty much guarantees that I’ll never have a week where I read more than I “buy.” Hope you enjoy your new books.
