Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and now hosted on its own blog. The days are getting shorter but summer’s heat is still with us Thankfully, we got some much needed rain last week. Wow! You had an amazing week. I mainly got kids’ books but I didn’t get the adorable ones you did!
I love getting “things” in addition to books (not that I get many books anymore LOL, and in fact, most of the “things” I get are because I ordered them from Amazon!)
That Frida Kahlo book sounds like my sort of thing. She’s such an interesting lady.
I’ve been interested in Home Field! I read part of the sample awhile back, but ended up going with something else.
Is that soup ladle pink?? I have to get one for my mother. What fun to get ‘things’ long with the books!
Love the cooking accessories. I received a couple of surprise books last week. Schools don’t start until after Labor Day in my area.
just love all your books.
I used to be a pretty big Christopher Moore fan. I stopped reading him a number of years ago. But not because he was any different. I was just done.
What an interesting haul! I am intrigued with The Royal Nanny. Enjoy them all! Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Some interesting looking books on that pile. Enjoy!
The one drawback to doing only audiobooks is that I rarely get anything in the actual mail, just my Inbox.
What an amazing selection of books, and cool kitchen tools. I hope you have a great week.
Wow! What a great pile 🙂 I am wanting the Chanel and Kahlo books – so cute!! I didn’t really like Homefield, but I enjoyed The Royal Nanny. Have a great week and enjoy all of those great new reads 😉
Happy reading
Hi Kathy,
I know the very person who would make good use of those lovely cooking utensils, what a great added bonus!
You have some very interesting titles and amazing cover art this week, I particularly like the two ‘Library Of Luminaries’ covers, although I don’t tend to read biographies.
The book I have my eye on is ‘The Tourist’, definitely an intriguing premise.
Thanks for sharing and enjoy your new reading challenge 🙂

Tourist sounds really good, Kathy! I hope you enjoy all your new books.
Love all the accessories that also arrived. I see a few that I will be putting on my TBR list.
Lots of great stuff. Home Field and The Royal Nanny caught my eye. Hope you enjoy all of them.

I want to read the Lucy & Andy book!
That is a wonderfully full haul. The book that caught my eye is Secondhand Souls. Enjoy all of your reading!
Soup Swap sounds delicious!
So jealous of the Frida Kahlo and Coco Chanel books! I saw those last week and thought they looked so cool.
