Mailbox Monday
June 13, 2016
Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and now hosted on its own blog. Yesterday was the 8th anniversary of my blog but, after hearing of the tragedy in Orlando, I didn’t feel much like celebrating. My heart aches because of the hatred and senseless violence in this world and I long for a solution. I found these goodies in my mailbox last week:
Monday
- Don’t Tell Me You’re Afraid by Giuseppe Catozzella came from Penguin Random House
Tuesday
- One Paris Summer by Denise Grover Swank came from Harper Collins
Thursday
- The United States of Beer by Dane Huckelbridge came from Harper Collins
Friday
- Darktown by Thomas Mullen came from Simon & Schuster
- The Binding by Nicholas Wolff came from Simon & Schuster
- Truevine by Beth Macy came from Little, Brown
- The Wonder by Emma Donoghue came from Little, Brown
- IQ by Joe Ide came from Little, Brown
Saturday
- Look at You Now by Liz Pryor came from Penguin Random House
- Baby Doll by Hollie Overton came from Hachette
What did you find in your mailbox last week?

The violence in Orlando, and around the world, is horrible, such a tragedy.
I have Room but haven’t read it yet. I plan on getting to it soon and then might read The Wonder.
I know many people who go to Pulse and a few of them were going to go last weekend. I’m so thankful they changed their minds. What a terrible tragedy!
Very nice mailbox. ENJOY!!
