Mailbox Monday
February 15, 2016
Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and now hosted on its own blog. My mailbox sure was stuffed at the beginning of the week! It’s been cold here this week but I’m trying not to complain about it too much because I know spring is right around the corner – at least I hope it is. I found these goodies in my mailbox last week:
Monday
- The Darkest Corners by Kara Thomas came from Penguin Random House
- Don’t Let My Baby Do Rodeo by Boris Fishman came from Harper Collins
- The Devil’s Diary by Robert K. Wittman and David Kinney came from Harper Collins
- Terrible Virtue by Ellen Feldman came from Harper Collins
- What the Waves Know by Tamara Valentine came from Harper Collins
- The Big Rewind by Libby Cudmore came from Harper Collins
- Remembrance by Meg Cabot came from Harper Collins
Thursday
- Fall of Poppies came from Harper Collins
What did you find in your mailbox last week?

Sounds like a good set. I do wonder what that baby rodeo book is all about. Interesting title!
Wow! It looks like a great mailbox to brighten the winter. Enjoy!
Great mailbox! These are all new to me titles. The Fall of Poppies sounds good. I’m seeing more and more books written by multiple authors.
All new to me… enjoy!!
That big pile looks more like your usual mailbox weeks!
Wow, your mailbox was full this week, and all of them are books I am not familiar with. Enjoy them!
Wow, I love your mailbox this week – it has some gems in there. Meg Cabot’s book looks interesting, so does the Fishman book.
The Big Rewind and The Darkest Corners got my attention. I have Rembrance and hope you enjoy it.
Terrible Virtue is on my list, and I can’t wait! Enjoy your books…and thanks for visiting my blog.
We had sub-zero temps for a few days and I just heard we’ll reach the 50s by Friday. Keeps life interesting, haha. I have Fall of Poppies on my wish list so I’ll be interested in your thoughts.
What the Waves Know is new to me and it sounds great. I’ve been wanting to read The Big Rewind, Remembrance and The Darkest Corners. Enjoy all your new reads! Hope it warms up a bit for you.

Kathy, your Presidents’ Day mailbox is full of enticing books. Enjoy!
So jealous of FALL OF POPPIES. It reminds me of GRAND CENTRAL which I absolutely loved!!!
Happy reading 😀
A great mailbox, I received Fall of Poppies last week.
Now that is quite an interesting mix of books!
I’m very curious about The Fall of the Poppies. Nice haul of books!
I love looking at the titles and then investigating the books. Don’t Let My Baby Do Rodeo is intriguing.
Don’t Let My Baby Do Rodeo makes me think of the song, Mama don’t let your babies grow up to be cowboys. 😉
What a great haul! The Darkest Corners sounds really intriguing. I’ve been eyeing Remembrance too, I read a lot of the Mediator books and really enjoyed them at the time. Happy reading!
I like the sound of Fall of Poppies. Enjoy them all.
The Big Rewind looks amazing. Can’t wait to see your review of it. Great haul this week. 🙂
Looks like some great ones. Enjoy!
Hi Kathy,
Wow! What a great haul this week and all fantastic titles in their individual genres.
Best cover art, which really caught my attention and made me think, was definitely ‘Terrible Virtue’
The synopsis I found most alluring, although which I probably will never end up by reading is, ‘Fall Of Poppies’
The two which are definitely heading for my own reading list are … ‘The Darkest Corners’ and ‘What The Waves Know’ … I do love a good thriller after all 🙂
Thanks for sharing and enjoy all your new books,
Yvonne
Nice group of books! I received Don’t Let My Baby Do Rodeo.
Very nice mailbox!!
I received Fall of Poppies and What The Waves Know.
Have a great week!!

I’m totally jealous about your stash this week. You got some great books that I didn’t get. 🙂
Wow Harper Collins likes you! I haven’t heard of these titles yet but I think “Don’t Let My Baby Do Rodeo” is a terrific title.
