Mailbox Monday
January 4, 2016
Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and now hosted on its own blog. Even though the holidays were very busy, I’m kind of sad they passed so quickly. Now it’s time to face reality and get back into our daily routines. I found these goodies in my mailbox last week:
Tuesday
- Puppy Pirates: Catnapped! by Erin Soderberg came from Random House Kids
Wednesday
- a book club set of World Gone By by Dennis Lehane came from Harper Collins and Book Club Girl
Saturday
- Where My Heart Used to Beat by Sebastian Faulks came from Henry Holt
- Sage’s Eyes by V. C. Andrews came from Simon & Schuster
What did you find in your mailbox last week?

The Sebastian Faulks sounds good. Happy 2016 🙂
All new to me. The Faulks and the Andrews’s books caught my eye!
Puppy Pirates sounds cute!
Oooh: Faulks and Lehane! Great batch of new books.
The new Sebastian Faulks!! Enjoy!
Those books look very interesting! I know…Den actually went off to his office today so this holiday really officially ended…until tomorrow!
Can’t wait to hear about Puppy Pirates 🙂
I like holiday breaks but it does feel good to get back to a routine. These all look good, especially the children’s book!
The puppy pirates books sounds really cute.
Kathy, I agree the holidays went so fast but I am a little happy to be back to the normal routine of things again. You got some great books this week. I have to remember to pick up Sage’s Eyes when I make my chapters visit this month. Happy reading
Oh, World Gone By looks tempting! I haven’t read a Lehane book in a while, but I must! Thanks for sharing…and for visiting my blog. Enjoy your week!
I’ve only read one Dennis Lehane – The Given Day. But I really liked it a lot (3.5/4). I should try to get another one in this year. Don’t know if that will happen. The TBR pile is growing exponentially!
Happy New Year! Sage’s Eyes sounds fascinating. Hope you enjoy your books!
Catknapped looks like a fun read for kids. Happy New Year!
It’s good to get back to the usual routine, enjoy! your reading week.
Enjoy 🙂
Enjoy all of your books.
The Dennis Lehane book is calling me. 🙂
Happy Reading!!

What a great pile of books! Enjoy your new reads 🙂 I received the new Faulks, too. Can’t wait to read it!
Curious about the new V.C. Andrews. Enjoy all your new books!
Kathy, the holidays did seem to whiz by this year! Enjoy your new mailbox goodies. 🙂
It’s been a while since I read V. C. Andrews, I enjoyed those books. I’m a fan of Dennis Lehane as well. Happy reading and happy new year!
I haven’t read V.C. Andrews in a while either, but in high school I read a lot. Hope you enjoy these books of the new year.
The Puppy Pirates sound so cute. Cole is really into dogs. I am glad to be back to the normal schedule.
I cannot believe that the holidays are over! We just returned from India and are trying to get back into a routine here.
Oh I like Sebastian Faulks, especially his books Birdsong and Charlotte Gray. Great snag!
Enjoy your new books!
These are all new to me. Happy reading!
I am sad to see the holidays go too. They really did fly by. And now my house seems so empty without all the people . . . I am glad to have the quiet back, I admit. Faulks’ book especially interests me and Lehane’s. I’ll be curious to know what you think of both.
The holidays flew past here too. And with no snow and mild weather, it didn’t even feel like December . . . not that I’m complaining, nope, not at all.
The Lehane book sounds tempting. Haven’t read one of his in a while.
I’m actually excited to get back to some sort of routine 🙂
Oh! Leanne has a new one! Good!
