Review – Star Wars: Epic Yarns books

November 27, 2015

Epic Yarns

The Star Wars: Epic Yarns books by twin brothers Jack and Holman Wang are just about the cutest books I’ve ever seen.  The Wang brothers have condensed three of the Star Wars movies into board books with 12 words and 12 illustrations.  The illustrations are painstakingly created with greatly detailed felted figures that are, in a word, stunning.

Every Star Wars geek is going to want to own these books – for their own collections and to introduce the young Jedis in their lives to the Star Wars saga.  These books are sure to become keepsakes so they’d make great gifts this holiday season.  There are currently three books in the series, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi and you’re going to want all of them!

Check out this video on the creation of these creative books:

I think the husband is going to love these! He is crazy about Star Wars. Maybe that’s a book he will love reading to Shreya, haha!

What fun books! My daughter watched the first Star Wars movie (Episode IV) today for the first time. She was kind of in and out during the meeting, playing while she watched (sometimes singing Christmas songs she made up), but she seemed to enjoy what she saw of it.

These sound so cool! I don’t have Star Wars fever but even I find these tempting.
