I found two words in some different places last week. My first word came from an Instagram post by Care.
1. frass – Care posted a photo of caterpillars and added, “‘The FRASS’ (New word I’m adopting into frequent use.)”
Frass is debris or excrement produced by insects.

My second word came from an event on our neighborhood’s Facebook page. The social committee added an event – “2015 Penultimate Music in the Park.” As I’ve run into friends and neighbors, we’ve wondered what was going to happen at this particular music in the park to make it so special. I decided to look up penultimate and was surprised by it’s meaning.
2. penultimate – 2015 Penultimate Music in the Park
Penultimate is the last but one in a series of things; second to the last. I plan to use this word a lot.

I’ve used penultimate for a WWW entry myself. And I love the addition of frass to my vocab. Thanks. 😉
I may not be able to use penultimate in my vocabulary, but I should be able to find a time to use frass!.
I actually knew penultimate. I had to look it up years ago and still remember it, even though I don’t use it often.
I knew penultimate, but frass in a new one! Thanks!
Well, Kathy, I almost forgot to come over and post my Wondrous Words. Its a case of too much Frass in my busy life. See – it’s already a handy word.
