Mailbox Monday
June 29, 2015
Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia of To Be Continued, and now hosted on its own blog. Another week has flown by and now the year is half over! I did manage to squeeze in quite a bit of reading time – now I need to find some writing time. I found these books in my mailbox last week:
Monday
- a book club set of Hotel Moscow by Talia Carner came from Book Club Girl
- Little Victories by Jason Gay came from Penguin Random House
- The Fall of Princes by Robert Goolrick came from Algonguin
- Local Girls by Caroline Zancan came from Penguin Random House
Tuesday
- Does This Beach Make Me Look Fat? by Lisa Scottoline & Francesca Serritella came from St. Martin’s Press
Thursday
- Down the Rabbit Hole by Holly Madison came from Harper Collins
Friday
- This is Your Life, Harriet Chance! by Jonathan Evison came from Algonguin
What did you find in your mailbox last week?

Hooboy, where has the year gone? I just realized we were mid-way when I read your post. It still feels like it’s May.
And oh, happy reading with the books. The one by Holly Madison, is that the Playboy bunny?
Happy reading 😀
Fall of Princes sounds terrific to me – nice assortment all around. Enjoy
Wow, you got some great ones this week.
You received another nice stack!
I got very little reading in last week. Life was busy and I agree this year is flying by! I think Does This Beach Make Me Look Fat? sounds fun.
You always have such wonderful books. I have Hotel Moscow for a tour, but the others look delish!
As always a nice selection of titles. I have seen a couple of these around. Hope you get to all of them.
This is quite a mix of topics!
The Fall of Princes looks good. I have another of his books waiting on my shelf…
Can you believe I have never read a Scottoline? one of these days….
Oh, I can’t wait to get my hands on the newest one by Scottoline and daughter. I also want to read Down the Rabbit Hole. Enjoy! And thanks for sharing. Thanks, too, for visiting my blog.
Look at all those pretty, colorful spines! So many great choices. Glad you had a good reading week!
I want to read Holly Madison’s book. I watched The Girls Next Door and had many questions about the logistics of their life. Hef always seemed a little out of it, a gentle old man, but he was still running things, so I knew there had to be something fishy going on with some things.
I can’t wait to get to those Algonquin books!
Nice selection of reads. A really mixed bunch.
Nice selection; I am curious about Hotel Moscow
I see a few that are new to me. Enjoy them all!
I would like to read Hotel Moscow. I’ve seen The Fall of Princes on another blog or a book site, maybe Goodreads. Enjoy your books.
Ooooo….very nice mailbox.
I am excited about The Fall of Princes. I always like Mr. Goolrick’s books. I am looking forward to reading Hotel Moscow too.
Have a wonderful reading week.

My Mailbox Monday
I really want to read Hotel Moscow. Little Victories sounds good too. Hope you enjoy your new books.
I love your pile this week. It looks super colorful! Hope you enjoy them all. The Harriet Chance book is one I am looking forward to.
Hotel Moscow caught my eye from your stack. All of your books look good. I hope you enjoy them!
It is hard to believe the year is half over! Looking forward to the Lisa Scottoline book. Her NF was usually really good.
This is Your Life, Harriet Chance looks good!
Harriet Chance looks great! Have a lovely week 🙂
Nice mix of books this week.
I realized this morning that the year is half over already. It feels like the older I get, the faster life goes by.
The Fall of Princes looks a bit interesting. I have not read the author before.
I admit that I’m kind of curious about Down the Rabbit Hole. Not likely enough to read it, but I want someone to read it and give me the entire scoop. 🙂
I’ve heard some of the passages from Holly’s book and I can’t say she sounds all that interesting or sympathetic. Maybe you’ll be able to change my mind (or confirm my low opinion :))
HOTEL MOSCOW is supposed to be great!
