Mailbox Monday
May 4, 2015
Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia of To Be Continued, and now hosted on its own blog. Carl was out of town last week so I worked extra hours. He leaves again this week so I’ll be working again. All that work translates to little time to read, but I’m not complaining – I’m happy to help out. I found these books in my mailbox last week:
Monday
- Love May Fail by Matthew Quick came from Harper Collins
- Something Must be Done About Prince Edward County by Kristen Green came from Harper Collins
- Second Life by S. J. Watson came from Harper Collins
Tuesday
- Beneath the Bonfire by Nickolas Butler came from St. Martin’s Press
Wednesday
- Freedom’s Child by Jax Miller came from Penguin Random House
Friday
- Disclaimer by Renée Knight came from Harper Collins
What did you find in your mailbox last week?

I got the Matthew Quick also.
Disclaimer and Love May Fail look excellent! Hope your work week goes quickly 🙂
I am pretty intrigued by the S.J.Watson. Sounds pretty good.
They all look like good books. Enjoy!
Whoa…you have a lot of psychological thrillers here! Keep the lights on! Lol!
Lovely mailbox, as always.
Happy reading 😀
I haven’t heard of any of these, but I definitely will be adding SOMETHING MUST BE DONE ABOUT PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY to my list! Thanks for sharing!
I’m curious about Second Life and Beneath the Bonfire – enjoy!
Enjoy your beautiful books! I was eyeing Freedom’s Child on Vine the other day….I’ll be watching for your thoughts. Thanks for sharing…and for visiting my blog.
Second Life looks so good. I just watched the movie version of Before I Go to Sleep.
I have Disclaimer on my TBR list – it sounds so good! Can’t wait for you thoughts on it. And I wanted to read Second Life, but am not so sure after reading some mixed reviews on it. Depending on what you think, I may give it a read. Enjoy your new books!!
I didn’t realize Nikolas Butler had a new book coming out. And yay for the new Matthew Quick! Enjoy your new books and have a great week.
Looking forward to Nikolas Butler and Matthew Quick’s new books.
Looks like some good reads. I can’t wait to read Second Life. Enjoy!
Something Must Be Done about Prince Edward County, Freedom’s Child and Disclaimer all sound really good!
Good reading ahead, enjoy!
I read Before I Go to Sleep and it was good, mostly. I hope this new S.J. Watson is equally as good. Happy reading
Enjoy your new books, Kathy! I hope you will have some quality time with them this week.

Second Life looks good to me.
Have a great reading week.

I just got Disclaimer today – I’m looking forward to it!
Hi Kathy,
‘Disclaimer’ is already on my ‘Want To Read’ list, after I caught it last week on a couple of blogs, that one sounds so creepy!
Similarly ‘Second Life’ also sounds rather sinister and intriguing, so that is another definite for me to add!
Thanks for sharing and enjoy all your books 🙂
Yvonne
I’ve still to get to a Watson book. Enjoy your week.
Such a great stack of books, Kathy! I am looking forward to reading Second Life. I’ve been wanting to try Watson’s books for awhile now.
Can you audiobook while you work? These titles seem like they would make a good word puzzle. Disclaimer: Something Must be Done About Prince Edward County Freedom’s Child. Second Life Love May Fail Beneath the Bonfire. #toomuchtimeonmyhandsatwork
Nice week. We have a lot of the same books. 🙂
The Kristen Green title caught me. I’d like to check out that one.
I have seen several of these books around our blog friends. I will be curious how everyone enjoys them. Especially of interest: Love May Fail and Second Life. Happy Reading!
Two of the same! I’m so jealous about Matthew Quick one!
