Mailbox Monday February 16

Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia of To Be Continued, and now hosted on its own blog.    Last week was busy but I didn’t do anything terribly exciting.  Today finds us anticipating bad weather.  They keep changing the forecast, though, so we’re not sure what we’ll get.  Whatever it is, it’ll be nothing compared to what our friends in the northeast have been suffering through this winter.  I found these books in my mailbox last week:

What did you find in your mailbox last week?

Congrats on your win! We are coming into some nice cooler weather, it feels strange not to be hot. Stay safe in the bad weather.

Hoping your bad weather is just relative (compared to New England!).

I mean NOT like New England … relative to your own weather … where’s that coffee?

  3. February 16, 2015 7:40 am

Nice win! Hope your weather won’t be too bad.

  4. February 16, 2015 7:49 am

I have my eye on the Half Brother!

  5. February 16, 2015 7:56 am

The Half Brother, I hope, will be one of my next reads. Like the sound of it –enjoy.

  6. February 16, 2015 8:22 am

Looks like a nice variety of books. Hope the storm avoids you…

  7. February 16, 2015 8:37 am

I just finished The Half Brother – I liked it fine, but was hoping for more. Good luck with the storm – I’m one of those “friends in the Northeast” and it has definitely not been fun, especially with young children and so many school/activity cancellations.

I am still envious of the cold weather. Stiflingly hot here. Humid as well. We could do with some rain at least.

  9. February 16, 2015 8:55 am

Nice selection! I have Half Brother and Vanishing Girls sounds interesting!

  10. February 16, 2015 10:07 am

Travelling to Infinity would probably be good. Enjoy your haul!

  11. February 16, 2015 11:15 am

I haven’t heard of any of these books! We are missing the bad weather…this time…but sadly not the cold. I’m ready for winter to be OVER!

Vanishing Girls and The Half Brother both sounds very good. Happy reading!

    Enjoy 🙂

    Hi Kathy,

All of your books and authors are new to me, however with the great win included, you have quite an impressive array and variety of genres to get stuck into.

I had my eye on ‘Vanishing Girls’ and decided to check it out further and see what the reviews were like, over at Goodreads. needless to say, it is now on my ‘Want To read’ list and as the book was also listed as a giveaway, I have entered the competition to win a copy – so, fingers crossed 🙂

Thanks for featuring this one, or I may have missed it completely.

    Have a great week,

Nice variety this week. I bet Traveling to Infinity will be quite interesting.

Way too much bad weather this winter… spring can’t happen too soon!

I really want to read Vanishing Girls.
    Happy reading!

Interested to see what you think about the Hawking memoir. Jason wants to see the movie, but I have a hard time with the three wives part of Hawkiing’s life. It takes away from the smartness factor for me.

Congrats on your wins and the nice variety that you received. Enjoy your reading!
