Mailbox Monday June 30

Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia of To Be Continued, and now hosted on its own blog.  I’m back from my mom’s and hope to stay home for at least a couple weeks.  Our nephew is coming on Wednesday so it’ll be a busy and fun week!  Here are the books that showed up in my mailbox last week:

Did you find any goodies in your mailbox last week?

You have at least two books I’d love to read: Mambo in Chinatown and One Plus One. I think they should be great reads for summer.

I saw Bohjalian on tour a few months ago and he’s a wonderful person and writer. I hope you enjoy his book; the plot sounds awesome! (He’s also very active on Twitter if you want to ask him questions about it.)

I was looking at Revolution at the library today when a way younger reader asked if I was checking it out, I could tell she wanted it, so I handed it over to her. Looking forward to The Competition.

Mambo in Chinatown is a really good read. I can’t wait to read your thoughts on the audio.

  34. July 1, 2014 3:15 pm

I’m anxious to hear how you like the new Bohjalian! I’m on the fence about reading anything else by Jojo Moyes since I loved Me Before You, but was lukewarm about The Girl You Left Behind. 😦

  35. July 1, 2014 5:21 pm

    Still haven’t read Moyes 😦
Season To Taste sounds both gross, and intriguing. It’s one of my picks this week for Books That Caught Our Eye @ Mailbox Monday.

  36. July 1, 2014 5:25 pm

I love all of these Jojo Moyes making the rounds! I was just telling JoAnn in a comment that it’s wonderful how many of her books (old and new) are getting such love lately. More for us to read! Enjoy these. 🙂

  37. July 1, 2014 7:15 pm

Jojo Moyes! I am going to get that one from the library soon.

  38. July 1, 2014 10:36 pm

One Plus one and the Marcia Clark one look great to me 🙂

  39. July 1, 2014 10:56 pm

I’m reading Close Your Eyes, Hold Hands now…it’s very good. Not sure who performs the audio, but it’s a powerful book. Great selection there Kathy!!

  40. July 2, 2014 11:49 pm

Great additions! I really need to give Jojo Moyes a try, don’t I? Enjoy your reading!
