Mailbox Monday May 5

Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia of To Be Continued, and now hosted on its own blog.   I’m back from a great week at the beach with my mother and sister.  I didn’t read a single word and enjoyed my time disconnected.  I’m going to make up for all that R & R, though – this week is crazy!  Here are the books that showed up while I was gone:

Did you find any goodies in your mailbox last week?

Wow that is some list of books, I’m intrigued about The Painter as this has popped up on several blogs that I’ve read over the last couple of days. Enjoy 🙂

    Hi Kathy,

A massive haul this week, even by your own high standards!

‘The Painter’ is already on my list, as it has appeared on several blogs during th course of the last couple of weeks. It took me reading the synopsis more than once to decide that I really needed to read it, but it sounds totally intriguing and captivating.

The one from your list which has made it to my own, is the new Chevy Stevens. His stories never fail to keep me glued to the pages and none of his books are to be missed.

Thanks for shaing and have a good week,

    Yvonne

I almost picked up the Diane Keaton book, but somehow resisted. It’s always easier to resist buying and accepting books the first few months after my yearly book wall!

  32. May 6, 2014 5:59 pm

Quite a few in that stack that appeals. Have fun!

  33. May 9, 2014 12:05 am

So many audiobooks! I can ignore the print books, as I have far too many to read, but the audiobooks make me swoon, particularly The Painter and Delicous. And Frog Music. 🙂
