Mailbox Monday April 7

Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia of To Be Continued, and now hosted on its own blog.   I had a great visit with my mom but it was far too short.  Now that I’m home, we’re seeing signs of spring and I can say with confidence that this bear of a winter is finally over!  I hope I can find some time to sit in the sunshine and read.  Here are the books that showed up in my mailbox last week:

Did you find any goodies in your mailbox last week?

I thought Winter was over but we turned cold again yesterday – I’m ready for some sun and heat!

I am always envious at how many great books you have to read. Do you manage to read them all, or carry them over? I’m kinda hoping you carry them over because I will be mighty envious if you can get through them all in a week! 🙂

Oh, there are so many good ones here. I want to read The Accidental Book Club, A Farm Dies Once a Year, and The Summer I Saved the World in 65 Days.

Thanks for visiting The Busy Mom’s Daily.

Nice variety this week and most of them new to me. A Farm Dies Once a Year sounds like the type of memoir I would enjoy. Spring appears to be on its way here too… finally!

Wow the mailman certainly didn’t skip your address. A farm dies once a year, looks good to be. Hope you enjoy it.

Great haul! I’m curious about The Accidental Book Club. Enjoy your books…and thanks for visiting my blog.

What I Was Doing While You Were Breeding is probably a fun read. My oldest daughter and myself both married young (me for the first time) and had our first child by aged 23. So yes, I was sometimes envious of those that held off on childbearing until much later and curious about their lifestyle.
Good books this week–The Accidental Book Club sounds intriguing, enjoy!

I’ve been visiting my mom and head back home today. I wish the days hadn’t flown by so quickly…

Your stack of books look interesting, particularly The Home Place. I’ll be anxious to hear what you have to say about that one!

Enjoy your spring weather. I’m so glad winter is finally over!

Wow, you sure do score with the mail people!

The Accidental Book Club sounds like fun! We didn’t have any sun this weekend but I am grateful for cooler temperatures (60s rather than high 80s!) and a ton of rain. I’m hoping the rain continues as we surely need it! Hope you have a sunny week. 😉
