Review: Never Too Little to Love

February 7, 2014

Never Too Little to Love

Tiny Too-Little (a mouse) loves someone who is much bigger than him so he tries balancing on a variety of objects so he can reach up to her.  When he crashes, Topsy Too-Tall (a giraffe) sees him and realizes she loves him too.  She comes up with a solution,

Which just goes to show that, even if you are tiny . . . you are never too little to love.

Never Too Little to Love by Jeanne Willis is an adorable picture book to share with little ones.  They’ll be drawn to it initially because of the shiny cover and will love the diminishing page sizes and pop-up surprise they’ll find inside.  They’ll also love the fabulous illustrations by Jan Fearnley.  The pages of the book are thick so they’re easy for little toddler fingers to turn.

I love the message in Never Too Little to Love and thought the book was too cute!  I think it’s the perfect book to share with the youngsters in your life for Valentine’s Day – or really, any day for that matter.

Thanks for introducing this book. I have 3 great grandchildgren. 3.5, 5 months and “due this month”. I think the 3 year old would love this book. He’s a rough and tumble boy, but never “too boy” to be reminded that he is loved.
