Mailbox Monday December 9

Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia of To Be Continued.  December’s host is Gilion of Rose City Reader.   There’s a poll up on the Mailbox Monday blog about the future of this meme – if you’re interested, head over there and vote.   It seems that Christmas is rapidly approaching whether I’m ready for it or not.  I spent a good part of last week working on holiday prep.  Of course, that meant my reading suffered, so I’m glad my mailbox a fairly light week.  Here are the books that showed up in my mailbox last week:

Did you find any goodies in your mailbox last week?

    Hi Kathy,

What a rare and diverse selection of books you have this week, you have some great reading choices in store.

The obvious favourite for me and the one which has already been added to my reading ist, is ‘The Gods Of Guilt’. I haven’t read any Michael Connelly in such a long time, although I do have many of his earlier books on my shelves, just waiting!

I had no idea that Michael is such a prolific writer and I certainly have some catching up to do by the looks of things!

Thanks for an interesting post and I hope that you have a good week,

Nice mailbox for a busy week. I’ve been listening more than reading lately. Lately when I sit down with a book at night I fall asleep!

On Such A Full Sea sounds very unusual – I look forward to hearing what you think – enjoy.

I read the first two Tradd Street books (The House on Tradd Street and The Girl on Legare Street)…loved the first one (chick lit with a Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil type undertone) and thought second was just OK. Has anyone read The Strangers on Montagu Street – is it worth reading before Return?
