Mailbox Monday November 11

Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia of To Be Continued.  November’s host is Crystal of I totally paused!   This fun meme needs a new home – if you’re interested, please contact Marcia.   I had a great visit with my mom and have been trying to catch up ever since I got home – I’m beginning to wonder if I’ll ever be caught up again.  Here are the books that showed up in my mailbox last week:

Did you find any goodies in your mailbox last week?

No time for the meme this week as well. Reading taking so much of a back seat these days its tragic!

I hear you about never getting caught up. Sometimes it really does seem like “The hurrier I go, the behinder I get”.

Wow, a short stack for you…very unusual. But probably nice to get a brief respite. I want to read the Anjelica Huston book…and Unremarried Widow sounds really intriguing. Enjoy! And thanks for visiting my blog.

    Hi Kathy,

I am so pleased that you had another nice visit with your mom, so it was probably a good thing that you had a lighter than usual mailbox this week.

I know that there aren’t quite so many of us taking part in Mailbox Monday just lately, but it will be a terrible shame if it has to close down. Hopefully someone will step into the breach and save the day!

Both of your books being memoirs, which is the one genre which I never touch, I won’t be saving either of your titles this week, however I of course hope that you enjoy them and have a good week.

I know how you feel about not getting caught up. I’ve been feeling that way even since our daughter’s wedding last July! But it is worth it.

The title of Unremarried Widow made me curious. Hope you enjoy them both.

Enjoy your books. Is the Anjelica Huston book part 2 of her memoirs?

  18. November 11, 2013 5:33 pm

I saw the CBS Sunday Morning story on Anjelica Huston yesterday. Her book looks wonderful, can’t wait to hear your thoughts.

Looks like you found some good memoirs in your mailbox!

ENjoy Kathy – wasn’t familiar with these.

I think Unremarried Widow is likely the one of these I’d enjoy the most. Happy reading!
