Review: The Married Kama Sutra

November 7, 2013

The Married Kama Sutra

I’m sure many people are familiar with The Kama Sutra but did you know archaelogists found a lost chapter this year?  This lost chapter features positions for married people and, lucky for us, Simon Rich and Farley Katz are sharing that lost chapter with the world in their new book, The Married Kama Sutra.

This book is so much fun!  Anyone who’s been married for a while will relate to these “positions” and those newly in love will relate sooner than they think!  I think this book would make a great gift – for Christmas, an anniversary, or even a wedding shower.

The-Married-Kama-Sutra-3The-Married-Kama-Sutra-5In case you can’t tell from the interior shots I’ve included, the positions in this book aren’t sexual, rather they’re a humorous look at what it’s like to live in a long term relationship.  The Married Kama Sutra will make you laugh even as you nod your head in agreement.  Be sure to check it out!

You know I wondered! But I figured you weren’t reviewing a sex book. These are hilarious. Seems like a good gift for my “old married friends”!!!

These images did make me laugh. The title is RATHER misleading though – I was thinking ‘this is not the type of book usually reviewed on this blog…’ lol. I hope that doesn’t put people off from picking it up. (Sometimes titles can be too clever.)

Kathy….I had to let you know I had a dream about you last night. I ran into you and some of your friends in a coffee shop in the Berkshires near Edith Wharton’s home…LOL (It was like we had been friends forever)

OMG the prodding position is something I know entirely too well. I can just see Scott rolling his eyes if he were to see that page… This sounds like a fun read.

This sounds so cute! I think my BF and I would get a kick out of this. It works for non-marrieds living together too, based on the excerpts you’ve shared here. 🙂
