Mailbox Monday October 21

Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia of To Be Continued.  Gina of Book Dragon’s Lair will be hosting the meme for the month of October.  Every time I think I’m going to have a quiet week, my calendar fills up.  I had another busy week but, much of it was fun, so you won’t hear me complain.  I hesitate to say this but, right now, I don’t have too much going on this week.   Marcia is looking for a new home for this meme – if you’re interested, contact her.  Here are the books that showed up in my mailbox last week:

Did you find any goodies in your mailbox last week?

Those are some interesting books…especially Bellman and Black. I can’t wait for your review.

I would love to host Mailbox Mondays sometime, and I have put in a comment on Marcia’s blog post. I love this meme!

I was SO excited for Bellman & Black, but the reviews have not been good. So disappointing after the awesomeness of The Thirteenth Tale.

    Hi Kathy,

‘Bellman & Black’ arrived in my mailbox this week also and I had been getting quite excited about reading it, until I read comments suggesting serious concerns about its review ratings.

I am going to work on the basis that reviews can be quite subjective, in so much as what one person enjoys and rates highly, another may not enjoy and thus rate poorly. I shall read the book with an open mind and hopefully enjoy it as much as I am anticipating.

I hope that you enjoy all your books and have a good week,

    Yvonne
