Saturday Snapshot

When I was taking the recycling out, I noticed this dragon fly perched on a shepherd’s hook.  He seemed to be posing for me, so I grabbed my cell phone to take a picture.  I got too close a couple of times and he flew off, but always came back to pose for me again.

    Looks like he was trying to blend in with the pole but those red eyes are giving him away.

    I’ve seen quite of few of these this week, but none have sit still enough for a shot. You did great, and recycling too.

    Beautiful. His shimmering silver wings are lovely. He is quite different from the bluey green dragonflies that you get near me.

    Wow Kathy…that’s a beautiful shot!! I love dragonflies. I called them helicopters when I was little, and still do 🙂
