Mailbox Monday March 25

Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and hosted by Caitlin of Chaotic Compendiums this month.   What a week it’s been!  I got back from my mom’s on Wednesday and I’ve been trying to catch up, watch basketball and stay warm ever since.  What’s with the crazy weather?  We had a very mild winter until March hit.  I found these books in my mailbox last week:

These books came Monday through Wednesday while I was at my mom’s:

Did you find any goodies in your mailbox last week?

As of 9AM Eastern time, Caitlin doesn’t have a link up so I’m adding one here.  This link will remain up even if Caitlin posts one.

Gah! Where is my Pekkanen book? I think I have earned a little bitty ARC, considering I read every one of her novels all in a row until I puked! Well, not really. But boy do I love her. I need to get my hands on this book.

I received 2 books this week. One is Shades of Passion by Virna DePaul. She’s a local author who sent it to me herself. And the 2nd one is The Barbed Crown by William Dietrich, sent by HarperCollins.

    Hi Kathy,

As Caitlin still hasn’t put up the link or a post for this week, I shall make use of your own linky and would like to thank you for stepping up to the challenge once again this month.

You have some great titles this week and from some very diverse genres, so you should have something to suit, no matter what your mood.

I hope that you enjoyed your trip and had some good family time.

You are not alone in the return of winter with a vengeance. Here in the UK the last few days have been horrendous and so very, very cold

Stay warm and have a good week,

Kathy, it’s probably time to add that library wing to your house. Wow! Many good ones here, including Berg and Pekkanen!

  33. March 25, 2013 3:36 pm

Looks like quite a haul at your house this week!! I’ve really been enjoying some children’s lit lately and those titles sound like so much fun!!! Enjoy!

  34. March 25, 2013 4:39 pm

What Changes Everything was tempting me because I tend to like Unbridled books. I didn’t accept a review copy by I’m kind of regretting it. There are so many temptations out there! I hope you enjoy all of your books! Here’s my mailbox:

I just read though all of these comments with a huge smile on my face. Thank you so much for the kind words! It has been a rough week – because of a dispute between Simon& Schuster (my publisher) and Barnes & Noble, my new book The Best of Us will not be in the front of B&N stores (other S&S titles are also being similarly affected). I’ve been so despondent, but these kind words give me hope that perhaps word is getting out there about the book, and readers may learn about it after all. Thank you, wonderful book bloggers (and a hug to you Kathy!) xoxo, Sarah Pekkanen
