Saturday Snapshot

January 28, 2012

I’m on my way to see my mom since today’s her 85th birthday and wanted to celebrate by sharing a photo of her.  I decided to use this one because it’s the very last photo I have of my parents together.  I took it with my phone and cried when I thought I’d lost it – luckily Vance was able to recover it for me.   This may not be the best picture, but looking at it always reminds me of how much my parents loved each other.

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books.  It’s easy to participate – just post a picture that was taken by you, a friend, or a family member and add your link on Alyce’s site.

Happy birthday to your Mom. That’s the best memory of your parents is their love for each other. I remember my Dad saying he would give my Mom the moon if he could. My SS is my Dad and grandmother.
