Mailbox Monday

September 12, 2011

Wow, another week has come and gone, and it’s time to take peek in my mailbox again.  For the second week in a row, I was able to make a dent in my TBR pile!  Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia of  A Girl and Her Books and is being hosted by Leah of Amused by Books this month.    Here’s what I found in my mailbox last week:

Did you get any new books last week?

I spent part of the weekend organizing the books I do have including – emptying the boxes fro BEA (yes, they were still in boxes) – it felt like I received lots of new books that way as they were in the BEA boxes including a couple I have wanted but forgot I had already: Fury and GLOW

Thanks for commenting on my blog, Kathy. I’m looking forward to reading Catherine the Great. Although I was a Russian major in college, I’m woefully lacking in knowledge on Russian history. Have a great week!

Too bad I don’t have more time before I fly to Seattle tomorrow – “Learning to Breathe” sounds like a must read before I get on a plane tomorrow after not having flown in 5+ years! I’ll just have to wing it! HA HA!!

  46. September 13, 2011 3:31 pm

I have read some of Massie’s other books (on the Romanovs) and really liked them, so I am interested in Catherine the Great.

  47. September 14, 2011 8:21 pm

I could use LEARN TO BREATHE … now! I imagine that, as a reader, I could learn a lot from the author’s yearlong quest.
