Mailbox Monday

August 29, 2011

Since it’s Monday, it’s time to take a peek in my mailbox!  Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia of A Girl and Her Books and is being hosted by Staci of Life in the Thumb this month.  My mailbox was extra busy last week because we went to see my mom the week before –  Monday’s list is actually four days worth of mail.  This is what I found in my mailbox last week:

Monday

Tuesday

Wednesday

What was in your mailbox last week?

  6. August 29, 2011 7:16 am

I think my brain would explode if this showed up at my house in a week’s time! I just saw Death in the City of Light over at Anna’s, and I really am psyched about that one.

  7. August 29, 2011 7:19 am

That wonderful stack is going to topple over…LOL

Kathy, Once again, Thanks for your thoughts of concern for me during Hurricane Irene; I appreciate that.

  8. August 29, 2011 7:38 am

Wow Kathy that is a great stack of books you got last week. The only one I see we have in common is the cookbook, the rest are all new to me titles. Enjoy 🙂

  9. August 29, 2011 8:06 am

The mix of reads you have! (some rather heavy, but they sound WONderful!) .. Death in the City of Light – on my I-need-to-see-what-people-think-about-it-because-I-think-I’ll-like-it list. A Rather Remarkable Homecoming – a great one to pick up to lighten the brain after one of the heavy reads. The Wandering Falcon – sounds beautiful. Cucina Povera – I’m hungry now. Families and Other Non-Returnable Gifts – just the title makes me giggle. I also have A Thousand Lives; it seems that it may be an emotional read, especially knowing that it’s true.

    Enjoy your reading week!
