boy, Claire LaZebnik sounds so familiar but I can’t think of what else she wrote. enjoy you r new books!
wow, great stack of books. These are all new to me. Happy reading!
I think my brain would explode if this showed up at my house in a week’s time! I just saw Death in the City of Light over at Anna’s, and I really am psyched about that one.
That wonderful stack is going to topple over…LOL
Kathy, Once again, Thanks for your thoughts of concern for me during Hurricane Irene; I appreciate that.
Wow Kathy that is a great stack of books you got last week. The only one I see we have in common is the cookbook, the rest are all new to me titles. Enjoy 🙂
The mix of reads you have! (some rather heavy, but they sound WONderful!) .. Death in the City of Light – on my I-need-to-see-what-people-think-about-it-because-I-think-I’ll-like-it list. A Rather Remarkable Homecoming – a great one to pick up to lighten the brain after one of the heavy reads. The Wandering Falcon – sounds beautiful. Cucina Povera – I’m hungry now. Families and Other Non-Returnable Gifts – just the title makes me giggle. I also have A Thousand Lives; it seems that it may be an emotional read, especially knowing that it’s true.
Enjoy your reading week!
Your postman must be moaning under that load! LOL
What a stack! They all look good, and I hope you enjoy them. I think A Thousand Lives looks wonderful.

I am also really, really excited about SIBA and getting the chance to see you again! I am sad that Amy won’t be able to go as well. I really would have loved to have gotten the opportunity to meet her.
