Oooh, I just received This is Where I Leave You from Sheri as a grand prize winner of her bloggiversary giveaway! A signed copy! EW says this could very well be on the top ten books of 2009. I can’t wait to read it!

  2. September 21, 2009 7:15 am

You will like Rooftops of Tehran.

    Musing/Mailbox Mondays

  11. September 21, 2009 8:59 am

I keep seeing This is Where I Leave You and being intrigued by the cover, but then not by the plot description. You’ll have to let me know how it is, because I really want to pick it up!

  12. September 21, 2009 9:05 am

You have an award at my blog:

  13. September 21, 2009 9:24 am

This week I received “Calvin Littlejohn: Portrait of a Community in Black and White” by Bob Ray Sanders. It’s a beautiful book of the photographs of Calvin Littlejohn that documented a time of change in a racially segregated Texas community. It offers a glimpse into an amazing world and time. Sanders is one of the authors who will speak at the Austin Museum of Art during the TX Book Festival (I chair AMOA).
