You’ve got some good stuff there. I really enjoyed Cutting Loose. The cover made me think it was a questionable read to me , but I really enjoyed getting the to know the three characters and was happy to see that it had more depth than the cover suggested.

  2. July 13, 2009 6:39 am

I really loved The Impostor’s Daughter, so fun! Enjoy your books!

  3. July 13, 2009 6:55 am

I loved WATER FOR ELEPHANTS and have a copy of SWIMSUIT waiting for me to read.

  4. July 13, 2009 7:10 am

I resisted Water for Elephants for awhile (it just didn’t sound like something I’d like)…but I loved it!! Enjoy!

And, I’m insanely jealous that you have your hands on the new Pat Conroy!!

  8. July 13, 2009 7:40 am

    Great bunch of books!

  9. July 13, 2009 7:44 am

Oh, I see Water for Elephants on that stack πŸ˜€ I still think about that book, and there’s an older man who goes to my church that makes me think of old Jacob from the book. I wonder if Charles, the man from church, had an interesting life, too.

I’m looking forward to reading your review of Cakes in Kigali. It’s on my wishlist.

  10. July 13, 2009 8:08 am
