You’ve got some good stuff there. I really enjoyed Cutting Loose. The cover made me think it was a questionable read to me , but I really enjoyed getting the to know the three characters and was happy to see that it had more depth than the cover suggested.
I really loved The Impostor’s Daughter, so fun! Enjoy your books!
I loved WATER FOR ELEPHANTS and have a copy of SWIMSUIT waiting for me to read.
Looks like your stack is getting ready to tumble! I’m so jealous about the Algonquin ones!
What a great week. I got several of the same books.
Your mailbox is full again 🙂
I loved Water for Elephants. And I’m really interested in Wicked Plants. Hope you enjoy all the books Kathy.
I resisted Water for Elephants for awhile (it just didn’t sound like something I’d like)…but I loved it!! Enjoy!
And, I’m insanely jealous that you have your hands on the new Pat Conroy!!
Great bunch of books!
Oh, I see Water for Elephants on that stack 😀 I still think about that book, and there’s an older man who goes to my church that makes me think of old Jacob from the book. I wonder if Charles, the man from church, had an interesting life, too.
I’m looking forward to reading your review of Cakes in Kigali. It’s on my wishlist.
Hey, what happened to Wednesday? ha ha
You had a fabulous week!! Water for Elephants is a wonderful read. Enslaved by Ducks…now that’s an intriguing title.
Have a great week and happy reading. My MM is here
Wow! That’s a lot of books to get in one week. And a lot of fun reading judging from the titles.
A friend just gave me Water for Elephants, so I look forward to reading your review.
oh! You remind me – I was supposed to get a pkg and I’m wondering if it’s outside or at the neighbors… I enjoyed Water for Elephants, too.
Great books! Enjoy water for elephants! It really surprised me, in a good way!
Happy Monday!

Water for Elephants is just the best!
Hmmm. WICKED PLANTS. Good thing BAKING CAKES is not a recipe book! THE BOY WHO HARNESSED THE WIND sounds like an incredible story. Enjoy!
Wow…you had quite a haul last week! I’ll be looking forward to your thoughts of Water for Elephants. Baking Cakes in Kigali also looks interesting…enjoy your new reads!
Another great book week for you. I actually have two of yours in my stack. Swimsuit looks like a good summer read. I’m also on the book tour for American Lion. I’m July 23. I’m looking forward to reading that one too.

Hi again, thanks for visiting. I hope your hubby enjoys Swimsuit as much as my hubby did. I think he started it and hardly budged out of the recliner until he finished it. It’s a grabber! Enjoy
I’d love to read American Lion, so I’m looking forward to the giveaway!

Ah, now that’s more like it! (A big pile of books again!) I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on The Impostor’s Daughter in particular (since it’s the only one I’ve read!).
Super list of books — and a big week!
Wow that’s a good amount of books. Lucky you to get some books that aren’t new releases. That’s always fun too. I got one book you got and one you mentioned that came in just this afternoon so will go on next week’s list.
Awesome mailbox week!
Ha ha..so much for last week’s smaller stack. 🙂 Love your books. I have American Lion and I see that it is touring this summer. I haven’t read it and have plans to feature a review… so I am glad about that. I got the big Zero this week. I cut down on requests (begging) …. But gosh.. Monday rolled around and I got greedy…..
What a haul! I can’t wait for your thoughts on these. Happy reading!

So many good books! I also loved Water For Elephants. While the topic is upsetting the story is so good. I look forward to hearing what you think about all of these books.
Thank you for always being so kind and commenting on my blog, especially lately when I haven’t been around much.
I also have Water For Elephants, but haven’t read it yet. I can’t wait to hear what you think of South of Broad!
What an amazing haul you received this week! I have to ditto the sentiments about Water for Elephants, I loved, loved that book! My book envy this week is for The Impostor’s Daughter and The Weight of Silence 😀
OOO! I want Wicked Plants! I loved the book trailer for it.
Water for Elephants is a fantastic read if you can get past Marlena’s annoyances. Can’t wait to hear what you think!
Okay how big is your TBR pile!?
You won the lottery! The Algonquin titles are especially appealing to me, and I wondered about Harper’s THE BOY WHO HARNESSED THE WIND … I’ll look for your review.
Wow, what a great haul!!! I was really excited to pick up South of Broad yesterday from a Shelf Awareness offer 🙂
I’m really looking forward to reading the new Pat Conroy and have been wanting to steal my dad’s copy of American Lion for months. Lucky you!
Those are good mixture of books! Enjoy!
Another person who can’t resist gushing about Water For Elephants. I’ve read it twice and listened to the audiobook, which is pretty well read, in the car with my family.
What a haul! And I just finished “Water For Elephants.” Fantastic book … I think you’ll love it.
