Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and hosted by Abi of 4 the LOVE of BOOKS this month.    I had a fabulous time last week with my mother and sister exploring the lowcountry and now I’m having to adjust to reality. Here are the books that showed up while I was gone:

    Looks good; it’s been a while since I’ve read a book with cooking and food-related themes to it, so THE IRRESISTIBLE BLUEBERRY BAKESHOP & CAFE looks fun for the summer. Plus, it’s set it New England, which I always love.

    Well, at least you have all of these lovely books to ease you back into reality. The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop & Cafe sounds like one I would love…I have a thing about books set in small town New England.

    Lost Girls sounds intense!! No new books for me this week though I did pick up a rather large stack in the past couple of weeks. Haven’t taken them out of the shopping bags, though. So sad! ;)

    I’ve never heard of the book by Mary Simes, but that name caught my eye immediately! Seems like a nice, fun summer read.
