Mailbox Monday
Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and hosted by Caitlin of Chaotic Compendiums this month. I can’t believe it’s March, but I’m kind of glad it is. I’m happy for the warmer weather – it was glorious here this week! I have trouble getting used to the time change but I love the later daylight hours and will adjust soon enough. I found these books in my mailbox last week:
Tuesday
- The Kill Room by Jeffrey Deaver came from Hachette
Wednesday
- Flora and the Flamingo by Molly Ilde came from Chronicle Books
- Open This Little Book by Jesse Klausmeier came from Chronicle Books
- The River of No Return by Bee Ridgway came from Penguin
- The Abundance by Amit Majmudar came from Henry Holt
- Angel Baby by Richard Lange came from Mulholland Books
Friday
- Island by J. Edward Chamberlin came from Meryl Zegarek Public Relations
- Real Courage by Michael Meyerhofer was a National Poetry Month win from Savvy Verse and Wit
Did you find any goodies in your mailbox last week?
There doesn’t seem to be a link up on Caitlin’s blog this morning so I’m adding one here. Updated: Caitilin has a link up now. I’m not going to take this one down since some people have linked to it but encourage everyone to go to her blog to link up.

You always have a wonderful mailbox full of interesting books! enjoy them all.
I’ve been hot and cold on the Deaver stuff, but I’m curious about this one. I heard him talk at a writer’s conference down here in Orlando a year or so go…interesting and smart guy. He sure does crank them out!
Enjoy your new books Kathy. Curious about Island.
Islands looks great! Enjoy them all!
You got a lot! I’m jealous!
Open This Little Book looks fun, and what an inviting title!
I can not wait for Spring either. Happy reading and have. Great week!
Nice Mailbox….I see you received THE RIVER OF NO RETURN also.
ENJOY your books.

My Mailbox Monday
Kill Room and Island catch my eye! Happy reading!
These are all new to me books…Abundance caught my eye. Thanks for posting a linky, I didn’t see a link at the other site either.
Nice variety. I got the poetry book too but the others are all new titles for me. The spring time change is always a pain but I too like the extra daylight in the evening.
A new Jeffrey Deaver! Can’t wait to see what you think. Another busy mailbox for you. Enjoy all of your new treasures. Have a fantastic week!
Enjoy all those books. I didn’t see a linky on Chaotic either. So I added my link here.
Daylight Savings Time is hard to adjust to, I agree! Glad your weather has been great. Enjoy all your new books. The two from Chronicle look cute.
Oooooooooooo Flora! I can’t wait for your thougts.
I also got The Abundance, and can’t wait to read it. I hear it’s part foodie and part memoir, which really excites me. Nice mailbox today, Kathy!
Most of those titles are new to me. Happy reading, Kathy!
Thanks for providing the back up linkup – I need to remember to come here when I don’t see a post up! All of your books are newbies to me, as usual! Come visit my bookish memes post!
Your books look delightful! Enjoy! And thanks for visiting my blog. And for adding the Linky, as I’m starting to wonder about our Mailbox Host!
A nice mix, The Kill Room sounds good.

Hi Kathy,
I added my link to your site as well, if that’s okay, as Caitlin’s link page seems to be having a few problems and has just confused me even more than I need to be at the end of a long working day!
You have some really diverse and interesting books today, however my obvious choice has to be the Jeffrey Deaver. I have just about all of his books, although many of them are still languishing on my TBR shelves. I really will have to gather them all together and put them in a logical reading order before I do anything else.
Thanks for sharing and stepping into the breach this week,
Yvonne
Your stack looks great, especially the kids’ books. Happy reading.
I love the variety!
Lots of new books!! Hope you enjoy them all!
I think I remember seeing something in my email for The Abundance. It looks wonderful but even though I’m tempted I know I just can’t squeeze in that many books. Enjoy these!
I’ve been having a bit of a though time with the time change, too, but in a week all should be fine! And it’s so nice to have spring coming!
Interesting selection this week again! I’m curious about The Abundance and The Kill Room. Enjoy your reading!
It was dark and chilly this morning when I woke up, but it was pretty in that almost-spring way.
Enjoy your new books, Kathy. Your mailbox is fabulous this week!
The Abundance found its way into many mailboxes! Have a great week.
Happy reading
The River of No Return sounds very interesting. Happy reading!
The Abundance caught my eye. I love when stories revolve around the culture of food.
I really want to read River Of No Return!
So many great books!!! I like the time change because I know that it means Spring is just around the corner. Or at least I’m hoping it is!!!
I’m really intrigued by The Abundance. I hope you enjoy your books!
I read my first JeffD this year, I look forward to trying more by him. Enjoy the reads.
You’ll love FLORA AND THE FLAMINGO!
Great mailbox! I love how I can visit your blog and find new books and new authors.
