Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and hosted by Lori of Lori’s Reading Corner this month. I’ll be heading down to my mom’s later this week to celebrate her 86th birthday on the 29th. I’ve been trying to get ahead but, so far, it’s not working. I’ve decided not to sweat it, though – if I don’t get enough posts written, I’ll just go dark for a day or two while I’m gone. I’ll have my phone with me, and except for it, I’ll be disconnected while I’m there so I can just enjoy being with my mom. I found these books in my mailbox last week:

I have “Why Can’t I Be You” in my eReader and I am insanely jealous of the Jen Lancaster book- I can’t wait for that one to come out!!
Three Graves Full must be very popular. I’ve seen it this morning on another blog.
I must read I, Rhoda! I loved the MTM show in the 70s and the spin-off show Rhoda. Rhoda was the kind of character I aspired to be! Brave, gutsy…and funny.

I am being good and limiting additions to my reading list, to one book from each blog I visit. So, after checking out the great links you left, I have decided on ‘The Missing File’, from your debut author D.A. Mishani.
I hope that you have a great time visiting your Mum, my own father and in-laws are about the same age, so I acn appreciate how valuable your time together is.

I’ve always been curious about Patti Callahan Henry’s books, but have never tried one. The covers always appeal to me, though.
