This is another picture from my trip to Savannah last fall.  I saw this sign at a little neighborhood restaurant/bar.  It made me think it’d be a fun place to visit!

We were somewhere recently and I can’t remember where! but we found out to our shock that Yuengling was the most popular beer in town. Neither of us had ever tried it!

    Aww, poor hippies.

  3. January 12, 2013 8:01 am

LOL, very fun. I’d check out the place as well.

I wonder how many people actually use the side door. How funny is that.

  5. January 12, 2013 8:49 am

    That is very funny.

    HAHA!!!!

Oh we are dating ourselves recognizing these “titles”. My mom use to always say, well if you don’t like it here you can always join the “Hippies”, we were never brave enough, but I guess we could use the side door. What a great sign.

  12. January 12, 2013 9:41 am

    Nice!

  13. January 12, 2013 10:00 am

I love that shade of blue.

  14. January 12, 2013 10:23 am

So, inquiring minds want to know. Did you trot around to the side door ? Ha ha !

signs outside restaurants and pubs make great photos – I love how they reveal a little about the establishment.

The same sign is hanging at my mom’s house as a constant battling joke between my mom and step-dad. He put it up, she pasted “front door” over it and so it continues.

  17. January 12, 2013 1:36 pm

I love it. I need to make one for my front door.

  18. January 12, 2013 2:13 pm

Oh my, until I read some of the comments I had no idea Yuengling was beer!

  19. January 12, 2013 2:17 pm

Love the sign…that brewery is near us!

  20. January 12, 2013 2:28 pm

Well, at lest they are allowed in – but why do hippies have to use the side door? My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/BIJkg

Seems very southern–and old looking. Seems we notice those kinds of things more while on vacation, don’t we?

I’d have to use the side door. I’m a hippy at heart. Love the clothes, incense, music. But not the other “bad” stuff” if you know what I mean!

  33. January 13, 2013 4:50 am

I want to use that side door too! LOL

Yuengling is a PA beer. Very common. It was only recently that I realized that it’s not available everywhere and that people crave it. I’d definitely enter there.

  35. January 13, 2013 8:17 am

    That’s cute :)
