Review: The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories 2

Last year, I read The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories, a wonderful little book that was a collaborative effort by members of the site hitRECord and its founder, Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I’m happy to say that the talented folks of hitRECord are back with a new effort, The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories 2, and I found it to be just as charming as the first book.
Each page spread contains at least one (very) short illustrated story. Readers can flip through the book and read the whole thing in a matter of minutes, but that’s not the best way to experience this gem of a book. I found the that reading the story and studying the wonderful drawings was thought provoking more often than not. Of course, I enjoyed some of the stories more than others, but, I didn’t find a stinker in the bunch.

If you want to reward yourself with a little treat or are looking for a stocking stuffer or a unique present for a gift exchange, be sure to check out The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories 2! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I gave the first book to my daughter last year and she loved it so I’ll have to get the second for her this year. Thanks for the rec!
I just love this book!
I must have missed your post on the first one! This looks like a sweet read!
These are very nice books to give as gifts!
The video is very interesting. The book looks like it would make a nice gift for someone. Thanks for your review.
I saw that someone had reviewed the first book the other day, and I gushed and gushed to my husband, who I hope gets the hint that I would love to find one of these under the tree this year. These books look so amazing, and like you said, not a stinker in the bunch! Great review today, you lucky girl! I’m so happy you got the chance to read this one!
I keep seeing this one everywhere. From what you wrote, it definitely sounds like something to read. I’m going to get myself the first one and second one for Christmas. They sound like a treat to read. Thanks!
Adorbs. I need this one and the first one too now.
I’m going to gift this book this year, and maybe pick one up for myself. It looks too darn cute!
This book sounds great and a good gift idea.
I still remember your review of the first book last year. And I love when you say, “…and not a stinker in the bunch.” This book would make a great gift.
Great concept! And these tiny books are too cute!!
I have this one! I plan to stick it in the girl’s stocking after I read it. She took volume 1 last year.
Great idea for stocking stuffers!
It is truly such a sweet thing and I haven’t seen one anywhere! I need to find an actual bookstore!
I picked up this little book (the first one) when it first came out but I honesty couldn’t justify the expense for such a little tiny thing. It is adorable but I picked up a board book for Elle instead. LOL!
I like these little books as stocking stuffers.
Sounds like the perfect little book to carry around over the holidays!
These books are cute and fun. I showed my dad the first one and he was giggling…and he never giggles.
I have heard great things about the first one, but haven’t read either yet. Thanks for the recommendation!
I’m hoping Santa stuffs my stocking with these. (But he probably won’t … as my Santa hasn’t been checking my Amazon wish list.)
sounds cute and an enjoyable way to really spend time with this book!
Thank you for reminding me to ask for this one for Christmas
It does look like a good gift book. Glad you enjoyed it!
