Mailbox Monday
October 22, 2012
Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and hosted on the Mailbox Monday blog this month. My mailbox was quiet this week so I should have done a little catching up – unfortunately, I didn’t have much time to read so I just broke even. I found these books in my mailbox last week:
Monday
- Ship It Holla Ballas! by Jonathan Grotenstein and Storms Reback came from St. Martin’s Press
Friday
- Horten’s Incredible Illusions by Lissa Evans was a win from Wrighty’s Reads
Did you find any goodies in your mailbox last week?

For you, it is a quiet week. Congratulations on the win. Looking forward to your reviews on both these books
Horten’s incredible illusions sounds interesting. Happy reading.
Well done on winning such a cool-titled book! I didn’t break even last week, I buy so much when I’m in a good bookshop!
Relieved to see your poor mailbox got a little rest this week. Love the cover of Horten’s Incredible Illusions. Enjoy?
Never heard of either one of these! Slow week…maybe you’ll get caught up! Ha!
Never heard of these?? What an odd title for the first one..LOL enjoy
Both are new to me. Really curious about the first
New to me too. Hope they’re good ones. Have a great week and happy reading! <(")
This is an unusual week for you. ENJOY the break even though it is disappointing to not get many books.
As you know, I only received ONE. Oh well….I needed that.

Horten’s book looks interesting! I have a little pile of new books I have yet to post about… perhaps tomorrow…
I’m totally unfamiliar with these, but those intriguing titles captured my interest. Enjoy! Thanks for visiting my blog.
I would breathe a lovely sigh of relief…sigh!
Ha! What a name. I love it.
Horten’s Incredible Illusions sounds fun.
You need to read Ship It Holla Ballas immediately so you can explain to me what is up with that title!
I had to look up Ship it Holla Ballas, and it sounds really fun!
It’s good to have time to catch up.
Horten’s Incredible Illusions sounds interesting!
I haven’t heard of the titles. Two is better than none. I received one. Have a happy week reading books.
Happy reading! Those book look interesting.
My kids would probably love the Ship It book, as it’s one of their favorite hobbies. These look like great reads. I hope that you love them!
Both are new-to-me titles! I hope you enjoy your books!
I haven’t seen either of those before. The past few weeks have been slow for my (actual physical) mailbox except for a few book swaps.
I was looking for your usual big stack … just two??? What is wrong!?
A light week is good once in a while… especially when you don’t have time to slow down and read. These are both new to me.
I’m not familiar with either of these, so I’ll look forward to your reviews!
