Mailbox Monday
October 1, 2012
Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and hosted on the Mailbox Monday blog for now. It has been a crazy week and most of the time I didn’t know if I was coming or going. I feel like I blinked and September was gone – I’m ready for things to slow down a little. I found these books in my mailbox last week:
Monday
- The Plum Tree by Ellen Marie Wiseman came from Kensington Books
- Decked with Holly by Marni Bates came from Kensington Books
Tuesday
- The One I Left Behind by Jennifer McMahon came from Harper Collins
Friday
- In the Kitchen with David by David Venable came from Random House
Did you find any goodies in your mailbox last week?

They all sound good but I have been such a huge fan of David’s – let me know how you like his book.
Have been a huge fan of David’s for so long, can’t wait to see how you like his book. Hope the others are good as well!
That kitchen book looks great!
Isn’t that the truth about September? Sheesh, it was gone in the blink of an eye. Have a great week and enjoy all your new reads.

Looks like a nice week for your mailbox. I have the Jennifer McMahon in E galley, looking forward to it too. September flew by too fast, and now October is here, and I’m waiting for some cooler temps to arrive in FL.

Plum Tree sounds good. Happy reading.
I checked out the cookbook and recognized David as a QVC host, right? I’m sure his cookbook will be good–it has 5 stars already on the QVC website.
Maybe you can use a recipe for a Weekend Cooking post?
MMmmm, comfort foods are my favorite kind. David’s cookbook sounds amazing.
Happy reading!
I agree–September just flew by. Slower pace please!
I can’t believe the holiday books are starting to show up! I love them but want everything to SLOW DOWN!
I must be unusual in not knowing who David Venable is. I love cookbooks, though, and will be reviewing a couple of them, soon. Better look this guy up.
Enjoy your reading!
My brain is already heading towards the Christmas reading. Hope you have a great week.
Nice selection. I am eying Christmas titles too. Your cinnamon rolls look yummy.
This was a quiet week for you!
Good books! All are new to me – I hope you enjoy them!
I used to watch a lot of QVC and enjoyed David’s antics. I have the McMahon one from Bouchercon so it must be good
