Mailbox Monday
September 24, 2012
Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and hosted by Kristen of BookNAround this September. I wish I knew where the time goes. I’ve been busy but haven’t done anything particularly exciting and, all of a sudden, here it is Monday again. I found these books in my mailbox last week:

Wednesday
- Midnight Cravings by Joelle Sterling came from Simon and Schuster
- Comet’s Tale by Steven D. Wolf came from Algonquin Books
- Stray Decorum by George Singleton was sent to me by Erin of Hub City Books since I couldn’t make it to the author event they held

- Chanel Bonfire by Wendy Lawless came from Simon and Schuster
Friday

Wow, you really do get a lot of books every week. I am so curious how you manage to store them
What a nice pile. Enjoy them all.
I also received Comet’s Tale (sounds good) and The Art Forger. enjoy all the new loot.
Wow, that is awesome! I think Buddy looks great, hoping I’ll be able to find it here or online.
Have a lovely week
Gracious what a haul! I’m adding Collared, Chanel Bonfire, Buddy, The Art Forger and American Cookery to my WishList. Comet is already there. Whew! How in the world do you choose what to read next?
I got a few of these at SIBA. But I wanted Buddy! And they ran out of that one. Why I feel like I need to read about a chicken, who knows, but it was a publisher hot pick.
Wow! Impressive stack! I have noticed The Art Forger around…and I like the look of Collared: A Gin and Tonic Mystery. Enjoy!
Here’s MY MONDAY MEMES POST
Great week. Cravings looks good as well as that drink mystery!
Another lucky person to receive a copy of The Art Forger, now I am getting envious
Great mailbox! The Art Forger is the one I have my eye on. Enjoy your reading week.
WOW..huge mailbox. I am always amazed how you can read all the books you receive. But when I saw this week’s pile, I thought, where do you put all of your books!!!!
Wow…..looks great!!
Do you have trouble finding room to store your books? I do!!
I have to give a lot away because my four book cases are getting full.

oh, great pile! I hope you enjoy them all. Most of them are new to me.
OOH good books there Kathy! Enjoy them!
So jealous of The Art Forger – I really wanted that one. Enjoy all your new reads.
I’m curious about The Art Forger, and Man in the Blue Moon is already on my list. Great mailbox, Kathy!
I am floored by your weekly intake (and output of reviews, too!) I have started my review of The Art Forger and need to finish it soon before I’ve read too many other books in between.
That is a nice, colorful stack of books… and they all look so tempting. I’m seeing The Art Forger on a few blogs today and I have a copy of Buddy too.
I didn’t know Tony La Russa wrote a new book. If he doesn’t say too many bad things about the Cubs I might read it!
I can’t wait for your thoughts on American Cookery.
Love that pile of books! I’m especially looking forward to your thoughts on The Art Forager – I’ve heard some great things about that one and want to see if they are true
Enjoy your new books!
Great week kathy, I see we got the same cookbook this past week. I hope you enjoy your newest additions
What is it about a stack of books that make us smile? All authors that I have not read yet, looking forward to what you think about the ones you read!
It looks like you had another awesome book week Kathy. I see we only had one book in common this week. Enjoy
You got a ton! I got a few of those too! Anxious to see what you think!
Darkness All Around was very good, and I think you will enjoy it. I also got a few of these, and can’t wait to read them. Nice stack there, I hope that you have fun with them!
I have to say wow again. I hope you like most of the books.
Kathy, I imagine you sitting on your porch (if you have one) with two stacks of books, one on each side of your chair, reading from the left and putting the finished ones on the right. Then of course out comes your computer to write reviews. My gosh, girl, how do you do it?
Hope you enjoy all your new reads. That’s an intimidating stack of review books but I know you’re up to the task.
A nice haul, some interesting titles there.

Phew that’s a lot of books!!
The Art Forger has been very popular today! Hope you enjoy all your new reads.
Cheers to your new additions/editions!
Awesome books this week :=D
I’m glad you received the book. I’m going to have to look into Comet’s Tale since the cover is so damn cute. Hope you have a great week.
OMG…how are you going to fit all of these in?
That’s quite the stack! The Art Forger sounds interesting – love the cover.

Hi Kath,
Like everyone else, I do wonder how you manage to store all these great hauls that you seem to amass each week and do you actually get around to reading them all?
I picked out a couple of special interest to me … ‘Darkness All Around’ and ‘The Art Forger’.
Both are new to me authors, however both these books look well worth trying.
Thanks for sharing this week
Yvonne
Holy smokes, that’s a lot of books! I’m sure I wouldn’t know where to begin if those were sitting on my table!
Enjoy all your books. I got Comet’s Tale and One Last Strike as well.
So many books! I don’t have any of these titles but I’ll be adding some to my list now. Hope you enjoy!
wow! happy reading
I have heard great things about The Art Forger. Have a great week!
Wow! That is a big stack. Of all of them, I’m most curious about A Brand New Human Being. That title is appealing.
You got some great books there! I hope you enjoy them.
So many books! My best piece of book mail last week was Steven Johnson’s new book, Future Perfect.
Wow, another great haul of books. I hope you enjoy all of them. I often wonder what our postal workers and Fed Ex. thinks of all those books they have to deliver to us. LOL!
Wow, that’s an awesome selection! Most of them are unknown to me, but I have had The Art Forger on my “maybe” list, I’m really curious about it. Happy reading!
That is a giant stack of awesome
Enjoy
Happy reading!
Wow!! You always get the greatest looking books!!!
I can’t wait to read your thoughts on The Art Forger. I haven’t read it yet but it’s on my “to read” list.
Wow – great stack. Enjoy!
We have a couple in common this time around from Algonquin. Happy reading!
