Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and hosted this July by Jennifer of Mrs. Q: Book Addict. Last week was busy, but in a good way, so I’m not complaining. I am, however, looking forward to a couple of quiet days. I found these books in my mailbox last week:

- SPF9 prize pack was a win from Harper Teen and included: Something Deadly This Way Comes by Kim Harrison, Summer and the City by Candace Bushnell, The Last Little Blue Envelope by Maureen Johnson, Cold Kiss by Amy Garvey, Sunglass Hut gift card, sunscreen and mini-tote
- The Care and Handling of Roses with Thorns by Margaret Dilloway was a win from Penguin
- What the Nanny Saw by Fiona Neill was a win from Penguin

Oh, I would be in reader’s nirvana if I received so many books to read–lucky girl!
What did the nanny see? I wont be able to rest till I’ve found out
Which book to read first??? I loved Jenn Ashworth’s, A Kind of Intimacy so hope Cold Light is good as well.
Another wonderful mix as always. Demands sounds gripping and I just love the cover art for Y – enjoy!

Wow, what a week you had! I can’t wait to hear what you think of the new Margaret Dilloway book, since I really enjoyed How to Be an American Housewife. Happy reading!
Wow! What a pile
Oh wow! I love what you’ve got there, and the little summer pack is awesome! I am so happy that you won it, and that you got a chance to have your mailbox stuffed with all these incredible reads! You go, girl!
Now those look like some fun books! I like all of the summer reads!
Hi Kathy,
This has to be a bumper week, even by your standards !!
I can’t even begin to make a choice from that huge haul, but if I have to stick my neck out and pick just one for my list, I guess that I would stick to the Mark Billingham, purely because he is an author who I have read and enjoyed before.
Thanks for featuring ‘The Demands’, now I am sure not to miss it.
Yvonne
I’ve been wanting to read One Hundred Names for Love for ages! I hope you read it soon.
You always seem to have the best luck for contests.
Awesome book haul this week!
Holy moly! You should buy a lotto ticket because you are lucky!!
I think I would have a nervous breakdown if I got this many books in a week. Holy cow. I like the sunscreen! Nice touch.
All I can say is WOW!!! I so want your secret how you do it all, family, RL, reading all those books, writing all those reviews, and commenting on everyone’s blog. Would a little bribery help in telling your secret lol?
What a tempting stack of books!
Lots of good books! Nice win, too
What a fabulous mailbox! I see several tempting choices there. Enjoy!
Great collection! I received a batch of September titles – September, already!? – last week and I’m struggling to figure out where to put them. Where did the summer go!?
Enjoy your new reads!
I guess you won’t need to borrow books from the library this week!
Wow!!! Those look so delicious!
As always, I’m totally jealous!! Use that sunscreen!!
I love the SPF9 pack! So awesome!
You have a lot of reading to do! I hope they are all great!

Tolstoy and the Purple Chair sounds great. I hope you enjoy all of your books!
Where the heck do you keep all these books???
I think that pile is about to topple over!
Hope you enjoy them.
I’m with Jill. Do you use the new beer store to shelve your books?
Great week! And that sunscreen should come in handy.
Tolstoy and the Purple Chair is a lovely book. I hope you enjoy it!
The Burning House sounds like it would be an interesting read.
Love the Harper Teen goodie bag!
I think or at least I hope you will enjoy The Care and Handling of Roses with Thorns. It started slowly for me but then I got really into it.
