Saturday Snapshot

Today’s the big day! Crafted, The Beer Store opened this morning and I was their first customer. I got Vance and Carl to be still for a few minutes so I could snap their picture and commemorate the day! Stop in and say hi if you’re in the upstate.

Congratulations on opening day! The guys look very proud, and rightly so. A cold beer sounds really good right now in, especially in the 100 degree heat. Too bad I’m so far away.

Not much call for that cold beer, here in the UK right now, a nice warming hot chocolate sounds better and a bucket or two, to bail out all of the flood water for most people!!!
We have been lucky here, as we are on slightly higher ground, but still very wet and soggy.

Doesn’t sound much like summer for you. Most of the US is suffering through a heat wave this year. Would be nice if the planet could spread things out a bit more.

Craft beers. Sounds marvelous. I’ll have to figure out if we come anywhere near your neck of the woods when we take my daughter back to college. I’m assuming when you say “upstate” that you mean New York. If not, then I’m probably out of luck. Here’s Mine
