Mailbox Monday
April 15, 2012
Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia and hosted by Cindy of Cindy’s Love of Books for the month of April. Yes, I know it’s Sunday, but I have a special post for tomorrow, so I’m posting this a day early. I actually read more books than I received last week!! Here’s what I found in my mailbox:
Friday
- Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer came from Simon & Schuster
- Jackie After O by Tina Cassidy came from Harper Collins
What did you find in your mailbox last week?

I’m curious about why Piccoult is pairing up with another writer. A James Patterson kind of thing?
Jackie after O sounds intriguing and awaiting your “special”
The Jackie After O does sound interesting – I’ll have to check that one out. Happy Sunday
I had a slow week too!!! And Sandy, Ms Picoult is pairing up with her daughter. AHHHHH!
I’ve actually grown to like those weeks where I get more books read than I acquire. Those weeks are so rare, and they give me hope that maybe the house won’t be collapsing after all…
I’m curious about the Picoult and daughter book. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
Happy reading
they both look good.
I wish I could reduce mine to two book sometimes. My list gets longer sometimes.
I’m anxious to see what you think of Jackie after O. I’ve always admired Jackie. I’m not a Picout fan so the other is not so exciting. I’d like to think she’s teaming up to promote other authors not just produce more books. Deadlines must be brutal to meet when you’ve finally arrived in your career.
Jackie after O sounds interesting. Happy reading!
I am curious about that Picoult/Van Leer novel. Enjoy your new books Kathy!
Jackie After O looks good. Excited to see what you have cooked up for tomorrow! Enjoy your new reads.
Both books sounds very good. I’ve never read any Piccoult books and I think it’s about time. Hope you enjoy those!
Nice mailbox
I was happy with mine too
Quiet week for you!
Wow…you are early today…and a rest from the huge piles you have been getting!!!
Jackie After O sounds like a book I’d love to read.
Oh, I am a big Jackie fan, so I really, really want to read Jackie After O! Enjoy!!
I have preordered Between the Lines…can’t wait!
Here’s MY MONDAY MEMES POST
I must admit, I’d be interested in Jackie O.
I didn’t know that Piccoult cowrote a new book!
I’m curious about Jackie After O! I hope you enjoy your books.
Kathy, I had to investigate the new book Jodi Picoult co-authors (with a very young author!). Enjoy your new books!
WOW…small mailbox this week but both look like powerful reads. Can’t wait to see your thoughts.
Kathy, you had a quiet but good week. I can’t wait to hear what you think of the Picolt book. Enjoy
Hi Kathy,
It is good to see an experienced and well respected author nurturing a budding talent, particularly her own daughter. Co-authoring is sure to give Samantha a great insight into the publishing jungle and who knows … this may be a new name for our reading lists in time to come.
I shall be interested to read your review of this one.
Yvonne
Is that the Picoult and her daughter book? curious about that one….enjoy
Jackie After O? Fascinating. I’ll be looking for that review.
Glad you had a week to catch up on the TBR. I had little reading time last week with The Girl on Spring break. Enjoy your new books!
Did your mailman go on vacation? LOL!!!!! Enjoy
Jackie After O sounds like a book I would love. I can’t wait to see what you think of it!
Interested to see what you think of the Picoult book!
Can’t wait to see what the special post is.
I’m curious is the Picoult book the one she mentioned in your video – the one she wrote with her daughter? Is it YA? I’ll just watch for your review
Is Picoult going to become the next Patterson? Lol, I don’t think I’ve ever seen her co-write before. Have a good week, Kathy, and enjoy your new books.
I hope you enjoy both books!
Look like a great Mailbox Monday – jealous about the Picoult & daughter book!
I definitely want to read Jackie After O…. jealous! Enjoy
Jackie AfterO sounds interesting, enjoy! your reads.
Ooo, what a lovely mailbox this week! I love the title for Jackie After O!
I have been curious about the new Picoult book. I wonder if this new book will be similar to her other books? The Jackie After O book sounds interesting. She was such an intriguing woman.
Sometimes it’s nice to read more than you receive. Enjoy the new ones.
You may have only received two, but they both look good.
I have never read Picoult but for some reason I am curious about this one. Enjoy your new books!
